  • Descrizione: Norwegian Alfred, a newly married father of three, and his childhood friend Sigbjørn are working on a merchant ship in the Atlantic when they are surprised by the outbreak of World War II. Virtually overnight, their ship is called up by the Norwegian Army for war duty, and the crew finds themselves on the front lines. While Alfred's wife Cecilia is back home trying to get their children through the chaos of war unscathed, he and the other men are attacked by German U-boats, in civilian clothes and without weapons.
